What are results from the Enrollment Tests being used for?
The results of the Enrollment form will be used in different ways. One way is that it will be your resume potential employers will look at when filling a position. The information will also be used to put you on the correct training path if you want to improve your skills and help the program with some demographic information.

How will employers use my data and informtion?
Employers will use an online database to search our pool of applicants.

How does it work?
They will search by aspects that are pertinent to the position they are trying to fill. Your name and contact information will be withheld until the employer is interested enough to want to interview you. At this time, they will request your contact information and call you for an interview. Chattanooga WorkSmart Database will remember which employers asked for more information about you and do follow up questions to see your progress through the system.

Is there training involved?
Only as much training as you want. If you do not have a college education, or even if you do, you can go through Skill Busters to improve you skills. Chattanooga WorkSmart is using WorkKeys, an ACT skill level test to demonstrate to employers what skills you have--even without the educational background. There is training for WorkKeys so you can improve your skill levels.

How do I get training?
After attending an enrollment meeting and completing the forms, you will meet with a counselor to help you determine which training path is best for you. Some will need little training, and others will need more. The training is a self-paced and voluntary.
